We are not a marketplace, a staffing agency, or a freelancer platform. We are a small, managed BPO operation — and the people behind it are the reason it works.
Remote Guyana was founded by Satiesh Sheriff after years of working inside US GTM and revenue operations teams as a consultant. He kept seeing the same pattern: US companies spending four to five times more than necessary on operational work that had nothing to do with US geography — data entry, customer support, admin, document processing, billing. Work that required accuracy, communication, and reliability. Not a US zip code.
Guyana offered something the usual offshore alternatives didn't: native English as a first language, full alignment with US Eastern time, and a professional workforce that was consistently underutilised by the local market. The missing piece was structure — a quality layer that would make the arrangement reliable instead of a gamble.
That became the founding principle. Not just placing staff, but building the QC infrastructure — SOPs, Team Lead oversight, quality registers, audit loops — that turns offshore potential into offshore performance. Every client gets that structure. It is not an add-on. It is how we operate.
Five people. Each one responsible for a specific part of the delivery. No generalists doing everything — each role has a clear owner.
Satiesh founded Remote Guyana after nearly a decade building GTM and revenue operations systems for US companies as a Clay Agency Partner. He built the company on a simple observation: US businesses were paying too much for operational work that Guyanese professionals could do at the same standard, in the same time zone, in native English. He now leads commercial strategy and client relationships across both the BPO and GTM consulting arms of the business.
Shellanie manages the legal and compliance backbone of Remote Guyana — the filings, registrations, board documentation, and financial controls that keep the company operating cleanly. With a background in B2B lead research, database management, and sales operations, she brings a systems-oriented approach to compliance work that most corporate secretaries don't. She is also deeply familiar with the GTM tooling the business operates, having worked alongside the consulting arm from day one.
Kaisha is the operational backbone of Remote Guyana's BPO delivery. With over seven years across call centre supervision, compliance auditing, and process improvement, she brings a rigour to team management that most BPO operations don't have. She runs the Layer 1 QC process — reviewing staff output before it reaches clients, maintaining the quality register, and coaching the team through issues before they become problems. Her background in leading 15–30-person teams at Teleperformance and compliance auditing at Express International means she understands both the human side of performance management and the documentation side.
Natalya oversees the Clay monitoring and billing operations teams and brings a sharp commercial instinct to the Team Lead role. Her background spans financial operations, business development, trade finance, and marketing — which means she understands why the work she supervises matters to the client's business, not just whether the task was completed. A University of Guyana graduate in Marketing, she combines academic grounding with practical experience across multiple remote and client-facing roles.
Sunaika manages how Remote Guyana shows up as an employer — the LinkedIn content, the talent community, the candidate pipeline, and the recruitment process that puts the right people in front of clients. With a BSc in International Relations and over six years across executive assistance, training project management, and client relations, she understands both the people side of the business and the operational detail required to run it well. She is currently also pursuing a BSc in Project Management alongside an advanced AI certification.
